We at Smashbox (“we”) respect your privacy and value the relationship we have with you. Your use of this application
is subject to this Privacy Policy. Your use of Facebook in general and your relationship with Facebook are subject
to Facebook’s own Privacy Policy and Facebook’s other terms and policies, which Smashbox does not control. This
Privacy Policy describes how Smashbox may use the information we collect with this application on Facebook and with
whom we may share it.
Information We Collect
We may collect two types of personal information with this application: (i) information and content we receive from
Facebook that was provided by you or other users to Facebook or was associated by Facebook with a particular user
(“Information We Receive From Facebook”) and (ii) information and content you provide directly to us, such as by
submitting it to us through a form in this application (“Independent Information”).
Information We Receive From Facebook
When you visit the application, it may collect any information you have made visible to “Everyone” on Facebook as
well as the information Facebook designates as your publicly available information. This includes your name, profile
picture, gender, current city, and networks. The application may ask you to allow it access to additional
information. When you allow the application to access additional information, and when you use the application, the
application will automatically collect other Information We Receive From Facebook about you. We use this information
to operate the application.
Independent Information
The application may ask you to explicitly provide certain information to us, such as your name, mailing address or
location, e-mail address, responses to questions, and your date of birth through a registration form. If you so
elect, you may also opt-in to receive marketing emails from us, subject to our Smashbox Online Privacy Policy
located at http://www.smashbox.com/customer_service/privacy-policy. We generally use Independent Information for the
same purposes as we use Information We Receive From Facebook. We also may use Independent Information for other
purposes mentioned in our Smashbox Online Privacy Policy located at
http://www.smashbox.com/customer_service/privacy-policy, which applies to all Independent Information. For further

Technologies We Use
Cookies, Web Server Logs and Web Beacons
Cookies are small text files that websites send to your computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely
identify your browser or to store information or settings in your browser. Your browser may tell you how to be
notified when you receive certain types of cookies and how to restrict or disable certain cookies. Please note,
however, that without cookies you will not be able to use all of the features of our application.
In conjunction with obtaining information through cookies, we may log details such as your operating system type,
browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time

linked you to our application and the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet.

Coremetrics
We are continuously working to make your experience on our application better. To this end, we have retained a
company, Coremetrics, to assist us in better understanding your use of our application. We will place cookies on
your computer to collect information that will show us how you come to our application and how you use and navigate
our application. Coremetrics does not receive any personal information about you. Coremetrics tracks visitor
behavior on our application through the use of an anonymous permanent cookie which contains no personal information
about you. Coremetrics is contractually prohibited from using the data for any other purpose. Coremetrics is
required to maintain all data collected on our behalf in confidence. You may deactivate the ability of Coremetrics

How We Share Information We Receive From Facebook
We may disclose Information We Receive From Facebook to our affiliates and service providers to the extent permitted
by Facebook. We will not provide such information to third parties for their use in marketing their products or
services to you without your consent, but we do not control Facebook’s own use of content and information it
collects in relation to your use of this application. We also may share Information We Receive From Facebook with
other third parties with your consent. For example, we may share some Information We Receive From Facebook with
other users of Facebook, including other users of the application, as described above.
We may disclose any Information We Receive From Facebook we deem necessary, in our sole discretion, to comply with
any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. In addition, we may disclose Information We
Receive From Facebook when we believe, in our sole discretion, disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent
physical harm or financial loss or in connection with suspected or actual illegal activity.
Updates To This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal
information practices. We will post a notice in the Wall section of the application’s profile to notify you of any
significant changes to the Privacy Policy and indicate there and at the top of the Policy when it was most recently
updated.

Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the contest. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
This Promotion (defined below) is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Inc. (“Facebook”). All questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion should be directed to the Administrator (defined below) at the address listed below and not to Facebook.
Entry Period
Contest starts on April 18, 2013 at 12:01 AM PST, and ends on May 18, 2013 at 11:59 PST (the "Entry Period"). The sponsor of this Contest is Smashbox Cosmetics, 8538 Warner Drive, Culver City, CA 90232 (the "Sponsor"). The Contest shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. Certain restrictions may apply.
To Enter
Beginning April 18, 2013, use the “L.A. Confidential: The CC Experience” application to create an exciting video and then click on the "Contest" window, and complete the entry form (the "Entry Site"). You will be asked to provide your first and last name, address, country of residence, and e-mail address. A limit of one (1) entry per day via the entry site per valid facebook ID /person will be accepted during this contest. All entries on the site must be received by 11:59 PM PST on May 18, 2013.
At point of entry, Entrant must confirm that they accept these Official Rules and certify that they own the content in their entry and have obtained permission from anyone who appears in their video.
Video entries must not include content that:
is sexually explicit; is unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; is profane or pornographic; contains nudity;
promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing) promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;
is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;
defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies;
contains any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will with which Sponsor wishes to associate; and/or
violates any law.
Any entrants that violates these principles will be excluded at the discretion of Sponsor.
Note: Entry must be made by the entrant, only at the Entry Site. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other Internet web site or email address, including but not limited to commercial contest subscription notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Sweepstakes. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.
Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries and/or submit multiple entries will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. No mechanically or programmatically reproduced entries are permitted. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries for entrants. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor not responsible lost, late or misdirected, illegible, or damaged entries.
Drawings:
Sponsor’s selection of the potential winners is final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor will randomly select the potential Sweepstakes winners from all eligible entries received during each weekly period defined below. The potential winners will be notified by email, mail or phone. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, then potential winner forfeits the prize. Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.
Prizes:
One thousand (1,000) PRIZES: Smashbox CC Full-Size product. Approximate Retail Value for the Full-Size Systems: $40,000.00. One Hundred and Nineteen (119) prizes will be awarded each bi-weekly drawing period, for a total of four (4) weeks.
Value of prizes to be awarded in each of the eight (8) bi-weekly drawings is approximately $5,000 Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Limit: One (1) prize per person.
All prizes are awarded "as is" with no guarantee, either express or implied. If by reason of a printing, typographical, or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these official rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.
Winner may be required to execute and return required notarized Affidavit of Eligibility/ Release of Liability within 30 days of notification. Once executed document(s) has been received, Sponsor will work with winner to arrange for travel portions of prize. Failure to return all required forms within 30 days or to comply with any other provision may result in the winner being disqualified and an alternate winner selected. If a prize notification or a prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, the applicable prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. All decisions are final. All Federal, state and local tax liabilities are the responsibility of the winners.
Eligibility
The Smashbox CC Cream Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open only to those legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry who meet the eligibility requirements. The officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents of the Sponsor and Promotion Entities and the immediate families and those living in the same household of any of the above, are not eligible. All Federal, provincial, state and local rules and regulations apply. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
General
Entrants release and waive any claims they may have against Releases for any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney's fees) resulting from acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize or parts thereof, or participation in this Contest. If for any reason, this Contest is not capable of running as planned, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Contest, or any portion thereof.
If for any reason, this contest is not capable of running as planned, or if this Contest or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Contest and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor's sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Contest or any portion thereof. In the event this Contest is cancelled, the Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing to award all remaining prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect online entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at the Entry Site. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Where a dispute arises about who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account entered. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.
The Sponsor and any and all Internet server(s) and access provider(s) (collectively, "Promotion Entities"), and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively with the Promotion Entities, the "Releases") are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human errors; technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions or defects of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including without limitation any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Contest; inability to access the Entry Site; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any web site (including the Entry Site) or for any other reason whatsoever; printing or other errors; any entries which are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or any combination thereof.
Incomplete entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible. By entering the Contest, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. By entering the Contest, entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts of the United States and waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other forum. Any entry information collected from the Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of the entry, with these Official Rules and with the smashbox.com Privacy Policy.
